Davits
To safely lower a rescue boat from a ship, davits are produced in all shapes and sizes, using different mechanisms. Euro Offshore distributes high quality davits and freefall systems for all life- and rescue boats. All davit systems are designed to withstand extreme conditions in a highly corrosive marine environment and are capable to perform consistently.
About Davits
Depending on the lifting requirements, the davits use manual or hydraulic slewing, with a pivoting A-frame if needed. The davits have a small footprint and are so-called ‘’plug and play’’, guaranteeing easy installation on board. Each system will be supplied with accessories as electric controls, wire rope and remote control parts. All davits meet the latest IMO/SOLAS requirements and LSA code as well as the European Council Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment (M.E.D.).
